Job Description
Logistics II is an intermediate level logistics role capable of handling more complex material movements, inventory accuracy tasks, and equipment operations. Work is more independent and includes coordination across multiple warehouse functions to support production schedules and customer commitments.

Job Duties:
• Pick, stage, and package orders with high accuracy and complexity.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers (with certification).
• Receive and inspect incoming materials for quantity, condition, and documentation accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts, stock rotation, and bin audits to support inventory accuracy.
• Use warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP) to record transactions and track inventory status.
• Identify discrepancies such as shortages, mislabeled items, or inventory mismatches and take corrective actions within guidelines.
• Support kitting, line feeding, or production material preparation as needed.
• Coordinate with logistics, production, and inventory teams to resolve material availability issues.
• Complete routine logistics tasks independently with consistent accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills Needed:
• Typically 2–4 years of logistics, warehouse, or material handling experience.
• Current or ability to obtain certification for powered industrial trucks (forklifts, reach trucks, etc.).
• Proficiency with scanners and basic SAP/warehouse transactions.
• Ability to interpret kit lists, pick lists, and inventory documentation with minimal clarification.
• Solid problem solving skills for common inventory or material flow issues.

Education Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a warehouse/production environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and containers up to approximately 35–50 lbs (heavier items with mechanical assistance).
• Ability to bend, reach, and stoop to access lower and upper storage locations.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and other non powered material handling equipment (training provided).
• Use of PPE such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves, as required.
